Antique Juan Clara Bronze Sculpture Boy Kneeling on Stool Solid and Signed Item
$195.00
Charming and substantial solid bronze figurine inspired by the renowned Spanish sculptor Juan Clara (1875-1958). This piece captures the whimsical innocence of childhood, depicting a young boy in play clothes curiously peering over the edge of a stool. Unlike modern "cold-cast" or hollow reproductions that typically weigh 2–3 lbs, this piece is remarkably dense at over 7 pounds, indicating a high-quality solid bronze casting. Features a hand-engraved signature located discreetly underneath the base. The signature was incised after casting, a hallmark Beautiful aged patina with no cracks or repairs. (Please see photos for details).
