Vintage Handcrafted Mexican Pewter Bow Frame Ornate Ruffled Edge Wooden Back

Vintage Mexican handcrafted pewter picture frame featuring an elegant, classic ribbon-and-bow motif at the top. This frame showcases a wonderful ruffled, lace-textured border. Crafted in Mexico using traditional sand-casting techniques, this piece is made from high-grade, lead-free aluminum alloy (pewter mexicano). The back features a classic, high-quality solid wood backing and integrated easel stand, a hallmark of authentic mid-to-late 20th-century Mexican artisan metalwork. The frame originally came with no glass as the back has rounded corners, so the glass photo cover added by a previous owner has chipped off corners to fit the frame. This does not show when the glass is in the frame. The frame measures 4" x 4 3/4" with the picture window measuring 3 1/4" x 2 1/2". Excellent condition.
