This hand-painted, porcelain hair receiver showcases vibrant, stylized pink cabbage roses wrapping around both the lidded top and body. The flowers are framed beautifully by an ornate, dark brown-and-black border of links, rings, and fine detailing. The underside of the base features the highly collectible, independent Green Cherry Blossom Mark paired with the cursive text "Hand Painted". This specific backstamp confirms the piece was manufactured in Japan during the premium export era between 1891 and 1921. Excellent condition. Measures about 4" wide.
